Printing on to Corrugated Cardboard

You may not realise it, but printing on to corrugated cardboard can be quite a straightforward process if you have the right tools. Although most printers do not have the capacity to print on to cardboard because of the thickness of the sheets, you can print straight on to cardboard thanks to the use of some basic screen printing techniques.

The hardest part of this process is making the stencil for the print, but once the stencil has been created, the time it takes to replicate the printing decreases significantly .

Bubble Wrap it Up!

A light and flexible packaging material, bubble wrap is made from low-density polyethylene film, and is ideal for protecting fragile or irregularly shaped items.

Bubble wrap also provides an excellent level of surface protection and stops shocks and vibration. You can also use it as void filling if there is too much space round a box you are packing.

There are various different sizes of ‘bubble’ and the material can also be antistatic or conductive.

So it’s perhaps not surprising that this stuff is used both for personal packing and across a wide range of different industries. Save money by ordering yours online

Find Door Drop Marketing Providers Online

If you offer local services, such as takeaways, cab services or gardening, leaflet distribution is a particularly good way of spreading the word about your business.

When it comes to launching fresh ventures, such as the opening of a new shop or restaurant, door drops can be particularly useful.

You may not realise that you can target delivery areas to ensure you are reaching your precise market, such as families or better-off customers.

Flyers can help you to win new business, boost sales, promote a special event or deliver money-off coupons. You could even have catalogues or samples of your products delivered to increase sales.

To find out more about this cost-effective marketing method, and to find door drop marketing providers in your area, look online.

Applying Make Up Foundation

There are various ways of applying make up foundation. A sponge gives a light, sheer layer and makes the foundation easy to blend. But you can waste foundation if too much of it gets absorbed in the sponge. Either clean your sponge after each use or buy cheap sponges and discard after each use.

You can also use a brush to apply perfect-looking foundation. But clean it after each use it or risk ruining the brush. If you have to reapply your foundation during the day, a brush is the perfect answer.

Fingers can also work, if you don’t mind the feel of the product on them. You may also take longer to blend in the foundation into your skin.

Is there an alternative postal delivery service?

Back in the good old days, if you needed a postal delivery service, you had two choices. Use Royal Mail, or deliver it yourself. There was, quite literally, no other service provider in the market.

A few years back however, the postal delivery service sector was opened up to competition, providing customers with more choice, and in theory, more competitive pricing.

Unfortunately, Royal Mail have continued to increase prices, way above the rate of inflation. It is therefore, definitely worth shopping around.

I like to read Heat magazine, and when I’ve finished with each edition, I post it to my Great Aunt in Scarborough. By not using Royal Mail, it is far cheaper to do so.

The wonderful look and feel of a tweed jacket

The classic cut of a tweed jacket is recognized throughout the world, and regularly features in the pages of the most glamorous fashion magazines. Whether it’s bought at a high street shop, a department store or on the Internet, it will last a lifetime and will always look fabulous.

True Scottish tweed, commonly recognized as the finest in the world, is manufactured using techniques that have hardly changed in hundreds of years. The islands of Harris, Uist, Barra and Lewis have always been synonymous with this fine cloth.

Lambswool angora – treat yourself to a piece of luxury

I’ve just been reading about a luxury fabric that ticks a lot of boxes – it’s a mixture of lambswool and angora. Why the lambswool? It’s strong and relatively inexpensive. And the angora? It’s renowned for its warmth and softness. The result? A strong, less expensive fabric that nonetheless appears much like the prized angora.

I like anything that promises, and delivers, the best of both worlds, so I have been looking online and discovering that there are some great bargains to be had on garments made of this fabric. Excellent!

The Benefits of Airport Meet and Greet Services

When you travel as much as I do, having the services of an airport meet and greet company is a real benefit.

They offer something I struggle to put a price on – time.

Instead of all that hassle finding some obscure parking site and then having to sit on a old minibus to the airport terminal, a meet and greet company will meet you at the airport and take your car away to park.

And when you return you’ll find your car sitting right outside the airport – saving a surprising amount of time compared to having to trek back to the parking site.

Wired Up For SEO

Reading the excellent Wired magazine this month, I was pleased to find an article about Search Engine Optimisation (SEO).

The article in question, which you can see here, featured a Q&A session with Matt Cutts – one of the main men in search engines and rightfully viewed as an ‘internet god’ by many.

For these of you unaware of optimisation, there is an excellent article available online titled Getting to Grips with Online Marketing which gives a comprehensive overview of the advantages associated with SEO and other online marketing tools.

This is an interesting time for SEO and increasing visibility to your website is a constantly changing process.
