Find cheap London theatre tickets with ease

To find cheap London theatre tickets, there are a number of options. Perhaps the most obvious is the individual playhouse’s box office. There are often last-minute cancellations, too, so it may be possible to buy seats for even the most popular shows.

Ticket booths in the West End are also a good source, as is the Internet. Sometimes there are special deals available, with cut-price tickets for some of the best shows in the capital. With an excellent choice of shows on offer, the options are extensive.

Cheap London theatre tickets -

Even in the age of mass media, with endless forms of screen entertainment at our disposal, it seems that plenty of people still find the idea of a night out at a London theatre highly attractive.

Let’s face it, it’s not too difficult to see why! You can’t beat the atmosphere of a live event in a lot of ways. And there is something for everyone across the London theatre scene – philosophical musings, a high-kicking musical, or a side-splitting comedy.

The only barrier for some is price, and even that’s not an insuperable problem these days. Search online for cheap London theatre tickets, and, especially if you can be flexible with dates, you’re bound to find a bargain one way or another.

BBC’s Bizarre Plans

Murmurs in the press that the BBC are to axe 6 Music have left me deeply disappointed.

Now while these plans, along with proposal to reduce  online output and the closure of the Asian Network radio station, have not been confirmed, the rate at which they have been picked up by the national press suggests that there is no smoke without fire.

Off all the cuts suggested, some of which I think make sense, I’m most aghast at the prospect of 6Music being shut down. This is exactly the sort of output that the BBC should be investing in, not cutting.
