Desiccant scoops aid product protection
TricorBraun has unveiled a new range of DryKeep desiccant scoops designed to give further protection to powders during shipping and handling and ensure that moisture-sensitive products remain in a stable environment throughout their useful lives.
The scoops help to control humidity levels during the packing and handling of powders. More than 150 sizes and designs are available in the new range, ensuring effective dosing for a wide range of different powders and chemicals.
DryKeep absorbs up to three times more moisture than traditional desiccants, and is specially engineered to have a long and controlled absorption rate, which means that the first dose will be just as protected as the last.
The scoops are made from a combination of DryKeep and pharmaceutical-grade polypropolene. DryKeep itself is FDA GRAS and Code of Federal Regulations Title 21 compliant. It also complies with the pharmaceutical purity standards of the United States, Europe and Japan.
The existing range of scoops are available in sizes from 0.5 cc to 16 ounces, and custom-made shapes and sizes can be produced very quickly if needed. The current scoops are produced in an off-white colour, but can be manufactured in almost any colour for grading and identification purposes if this is a requirement.

Further freelance work means it is time to book Amsterdam flights
My ever-growing freelance writing career is really beginning to soar. After my recent trips to Barcelona and New York, I’ve now just booked cheap Amsterdam flights for an assignment in the summer months.
Obviously, Amsterdam has something of a reputation as a rather, shall we say, ‘liberal city’. However, the aim of my article will be to show that the Netherlands’s capital is a viable destination for these not just attracted to the city’s relaxed attitude to drugs and prostitution!
With attractions such as the Van Gogh Museum, the fascinating Anne Frank House and the NEMO – a science museum in a building that looks like a inking ship – there is really something for everyone.
That culture, coupled with the café culture, relaxing way of life and interesting architecture makes Amsterdam a must in my eyes.

Media’s Reliance on the Rechargeable Battery
When I talk to some of my hardened colleagues in the newspaper trade about the ‘good ol days’ I can’t feel anything but thankful that I now have the use of modern technology.
It does mean that I’m 100 per cent reliant on the charge of my phone’s rechargeable battery when reporting at a football match, but it guarantees the quick and easy filing of copy – important with tight deadlines.
Times have certainly changed with how we process and access information, and with this blog in its earnest it is time for a brave prediction.
