Immerse yourself in the world of the bard – see Shakespeare in L

As an English graduate, I was forced to read Shakespeare as part of my degree. However this did not put me off my love of the bard, indeed it strengthened my passion for his plays and works.

Whenever I can, I endeavour to book tickets to see the latest production of Shakespeare in London. There is nothing more I enjoy than a trip to the capital to enjoy a feast of Elizabethan theatre.

Just the feel of being in a theatre and waiting for the actors to take to the stage is a complete rush for me. Luckily, the greatest playwright’s works are just as popular now as they were with his contemporaries, so I always find plenty of opportunities to indulge in what I deem to be my guilty pleasure!

Steps to Good Facial Skin Care

Good facial skin care doesn’t have to cost a lot of money or take up too much time. It’s all about knowing your skin type, using the best quality products you can afford, and getting into a regular skin care routine.

Cleanser helps take off oil, grime and make up from your skin . Use one for your skin type every night. In the morning, just use a lukewarm water to slpash off excess oils from your skin.

While many people swear by tone, using it is really a matter of personal preference. But don’t stint on the moisturiser, even if you have an oily skin, Regular scrubbing is also important to remove the top layer of dead skin cells that can make your complexion look dull. A gentle scrub with tiny ains is the best for all skin types.

You can read more about facial skin care online.

Looking for Student Accmmodation in Dundee?

If choosing where to go to university is an important decision, choosing where to live once you get there has a huge impact on your time as a student.

If you’ve just got your A-level results and are headed north of the border to start a degree course this autumn, you need to be thinking about student accommodation in Dundee now. For most first-years, university accommodation is the most practical solution. It’s also the most sociable. There’ll be plenty of time to move out once you know the city better, and have made friends.

Dundee has a wide range of accommodation, including student flats, some of it managed by the university and some of it run by a separate management company. Book your accommodation as soon as you can to boost your chances of getting your first choice.

There are a Number of Ways to Get Rid of Rats

Scratching noises or droppings can be a sign that youve got rats on your premises. There are, however, a number of ways to get rid of rats. These can range from hi-tech to simple rat poison. The hi-tech method is an ultrasonic repeller which emits a high pitched sound that humans cannot hear. But the best way to avoid a rat problem is to secure your premises against them dont leave food lying about and if you have any holes that may appeal to rats, block them up. The general advice is to avoid the problem before it starts whenever possible.

London theatre tickets – wonderful value

We all have our own idea of what makes the perfect evening out. For some, it’s a meal in a fine restaurant, while for others it may be a blockbuster movie at the local multiplex. For me, though, nothing beats an evening in the glitzy West End, the highlight of which is a spectacular, toe-tapping musical.
London theatre tickets are great value, because they transport you on a journey to a magical place for a few hours. The songs, the dance routines and the major stars all contribute to an unforgettable occasion, and all in the heart of the capital.

Daughter’s Flat Gets the Traitement Termites Treatment

Our oldest daughter is in Lille on her year abroad from university in Bristol, where she’s studying French and Law. Her recent experience of ‘Traitement Termites’ has been a great way of combining her language and legal skills.
France has a bit of a termite problem, and she and the two local girls she shares a flat with found the place riddled with the insects. In France, you have to declare an infestation of termites to the town hall, whether you’re an owner or a tenant, so that’s what Harriet and her friends did. The mayor then has the power to force treatment (‘traitement’) work to take place to get rid of the bugs. Chemicals get injected into the wood, apparently.

Harriet could have faced a hefty fine of thousands of Euros for not reporting the termites. We’re glad it’s all sorted now, and it’s actually been quite an interesting story to follow!
