London plays – read all about it!
London plays hit the headlines more often than you might imagine, given that it’s really only quite a small proportion of the UK population that ever make it down to the English capital to take their seat in the audience of a dramatic spectacle of one sort or another.
But it seems that the press are happy to feed us news of the latest triumphs or disasters and we are equally content to consume it. I suppose there are wide-ranging reasons for this – even if we don’t consider ourselves to have a great interest in all things thespian, we still like to hear how our favourite celebrities are faring against the challenge of treading the boards six nights a week, for better or worse!
