A-Levels – accept the challenge
There seem to be so many educational options for young people approaching 16, these days. A-levels, AS-Levels, technical certificates, vocational training… But for those wanting to go on to higher education, A- and AS-Levels are the most common route.
Back in my day choosing a course to aim for involved thumbing through catalogues in the careers section at school. Nowadays, of course, a lot of the information you might need to make your choice is also online.
Whatever the rumblings in the media about exams getting easier, and whatever the technological advances in educational tools, I reckon it’s still a great achievement for any young person to work hard and get those A-Levels they need to go on to their dream course of study.
