Gas Tariffs Set to be Cut
Found it quite interesting this week how the press reported the cut in gas prices by the so-called ‘Big 6′ energy suppliers.
A mix of outrage and disbelief sums it up, with many in the press angered and pointing out the sheer cheek of the energy suppliers to finally pass on savings in the cost of gas to their customers after the winter months had passed and in the week that, for many in the UK, spring arrived.
For me, this act was hardly surprising. We’re used to the energy companies doing what they want in a bid to make profit and, frankly, until the regulators step up their act we’ll have to keep switching providers to try and locate the best deals.
